We love travel and exploring new places, seeing new sights, eating good food, and experiencing new adventures. Unfortunately, it can often come at a cost to the environment. Increased carbon emissions, food waste, single-use plastics, and direct impacts to local wildlife and natural spaces to name a few. But there are ways to reduce your impact as you travel, and even use your money and influence to support wildlife conservation and local communities. We give back to the environment by offering three levels of carbon offsetting for every trip with us!
With our Standard promise, we take 10% of all commissions we receive back from every vendor and donate it to either a carbon offsetting or wildlife conservation program. We have hand-selected each of these projects and can guarantee their value to giving back to nature as you travel with us. Read on for more information!

America is blessed with a stunning diversity of National Forests. From urbanites in big cities to families in rural towns, we are all connected to these public forest lands. Disturbances, such as wildfire, insects and disease outbreaks, are jeopardizing the very things that make forests so wonderful. That’s why we're planting millions of trees and reforesting thousands of acres of National Forests.

The Florida bonneted bat (Eumops floridanus) is the rarest bat in the United States. This species has suffered habitat loss due to rapid land development and climate change, which increases the intensity and frequency of storms, reducing natural roost availability. As a consequence, the species’ population has been in decline for decades.
Each year, bees are experiencing massive die-offs throughout the U.S. and Canada. Compared to 1947, the U.S. honeybee population has declined by 60%. From apples and squash to buckwheat and coffee, bees are responsible for pollinating most of the fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts that are essential to our diets. Honeybees in particular play a huge role in agriculture, contributing over $15 billion to the value of US crop production.
“Wildlife crossings restore ecosystems that had been fractured and disrupted. They reconnect lands and species that are aching to be whole. I believe these crossings go beyond mere conservation, toward a kind of environmental rejuvenation that is long overdue.”
